The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) says it has recovered 81 stolen vehicles in just two years through the National Vehicle Identification Scheme (NVIS) portal in the last two years.
In a statement by the Corps Public Education Officer Osondo Ohaeri, the recovery followed a clue from red vehicle by a towing truck team of the RS7.1 FCT Sector Command at Wuye, along the expressway leading to Area 1.
Reacting to this development, the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed stressed that the Corps would continue to strengthen its vehicle identification and intelligence capabilities while maintaining close collaboration with the Nigeria Police Force and other security agencies whenever operational circumstances demand.
