The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe, on behalf of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, officially flagged off the construction of the Akwanga–Jos–Bauchi–Gombe–Maiduguri Highway in Akwanga, Nasarawa State.
During the event, Prof. Goshwe also represented the President at the commissioning of newly completed infrastructure projects executed by the Nasarawa State Government, including a flyover, modern streetlights, and several kilometres of roads aimed at improving transportation and boosting economic activities in the state.
He described the projects as a reflection of the Tinubu administration’s commitment to delivering critical infrastructure under the Renewed Hope Agenda, noting that improved road networks are essential for enhancing connectivity, stimulating commerce, and creating economic opportunities across the country.
The APC chairman also commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for what he described as visionary leadership and sustained investment in infrastructure, saying the state’s development efforts complement the Federal Government’s drive to modernise Nigeria’s transport network.
According to him, the administration remains committed to expanding strategic infrastructure nationwide to promote economic growth, improve the quality of life of citizens, and strengthen national development.
