Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State on Thursday explained why the Allied Peoples Movement, APM, presidential candidate, Seyi Makinde picked a former Director General of the Department of State Services, DSS, Lawal Daura as his running mate.
Mohammed said Makinde picked Daura as his running mate due to the high level of insecurity in Nigeria.
Speaking during the APM town hall meeting in Akure, Ondo State, Mohammed said: “Makinde embodies a lot of hope and capacity, a tested and trusted person who has done it at the sub-national level and we have no problem bringing him forward as our presidential candidate.”
