Nigeria’s First Lady Oluremi Tinubu says through compassion, effective interventions, and sustained collaboration, the world can create pathways out of poverty towards shared prosperity.
This is in her message marking this year’s International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, with the theme “Dignity, Opportunity, and Shared Prosperity.”
Highlighting the need for collective responsibility to build a society where every person can live with dignity and hope, has access to meaningful opportunities and realize one’s full potential, the First Lady says the society must continue to expand access to education, healthcare, skills, decent livelihoods and economic opportunities, especially for vulnerable families.
