Hon. Godfrey Gaiya, the Southern Kaduna senatorial district candidate of the African Democratic Congress, in an interview with The Sun, dismissed the notion that the 32 governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress would be enough to secure President Bola Tinubu’s victory in the 2027 presidential election.
Asked about the claim that there was a northern consensus to move against the APC, Gaiya said such a consensus existed, attributing it to what he described as the party’s unfair treatment of the average northerner.
