Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has held talks with the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Taiwo Oyedele, on strengthening economic cooperation between the Federal Government and Kaduna State.
The meeting focused on reducing poverty and unemployment, revitalising rural economies, expanding financial inclusion and creating sustainable livelihood opportunities for residents. Sani said the state’s financial inclusion initiatives were already helping more citizens gain access to economic opportunities.
The governor said Kaduna remained committed to working with Oyedele to advance programmes that empower residents, support businesses, strengthen communities and promote inclusive economic growth. He also commended the minister for his commitment to economic reforms and openness to partnerships with the state.
Sani said the shared objective was to build a Kaduna where economic opportunities are widened and prosperity reaches communities across the state. He said the collaboration would continue in line with the economic objectives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
