Vice President Kashim Shettima has said national security remains the foundation for achieving Nigeria’s economic ambitions and long-term prosperity.
Shettima stated this while representing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the graduation ceremony of National Defence College Course 34.
Delivering the President’s address, the Vice President said the administration considers the safety and protection of lives essential to expanding businesses, attracting investment and strengthening the economy.
He added that strengthening Nigeria’s armed forces and tackling criminal elements, bandits and terrorists remain central to the Federal Government’s priorities as it works to create a safer environment for economic growth and development.
