Headquarters Sector 3 Operation HADIN KAI/Multinational Joint Task Force (OPHK/MNJTF) has donated educational materials to selected schools in Monguno Local Government Area of Borno State as part of its Civil-Military Cooperation (CIMIC) initiatives.
The donation, made on 8 August 2026, is aimed at supporting education, strengthening community resilience and deepening trust between the military and host communities. Presenting the materials, the Sector Commander, Brigadier General Shehu Ahmed, represented by the Commander Sector 3 Garrison, Brigadier General Ikechukwu Ogundele, reaffirmed the Sector’s commitment to people-oriented initiatives that promote peace and stability.
Ogundele said education remains fundamental to sustainable development and community resilience, noting that such interventions complement kinetic operations by addressing community needs and fostering greater understanding, trust and cooperation between the military and civilians.
The intervention is part of the Sector’s ongoing non-kinetic activities aimed at supporting host communities, strengthening civil-military relations and contributing to lasting peace and stability across the North East.
