Philip Agbese, a member of the house of representatives, has called for Nigeria’s withdrawal from the International Criminal Court (ICC), stating that the country’s judicial system is capable of handling cases involving alleged human rights violations.
Agbese, who represents Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo federal constituency of Benue state on the platform of the Labour Party (LP), made the call on Thursday during an appearance on TVC News while discussing Nigeria’s security challenges and the role of the armed forces.
