The Nigerian Army’s Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) has declared several senior ISWAP/ISIS terrorist leaders wanted following a major intelligence breakthrough from recent offensive operations in the Lake Chad region of northern Borno State. Troops recovered a camcorder and other high-value intelligence materials during the operations, and subsequent forensic exploitation of the devices led to the identification of terrorist locations and key commanders operating within the Mangari–Metele–Dogon Chukun axis in Abadam and Kukawa Local Government Areas.

Among those identified are Abu Musa Al-Mangawi Baa Shuwa, the Wali (Governor) of ISWAP and the group’s most wanted leader in the Lake Chad Basin; his deputy and Amirul Jaish, Muhammad Jidda, also known as “The One-Handed Man”; and Hamad Abu Hanifa, the Amirul-Fiya of ISWAP, alongside other senior operatives.

The military announced that a substantial financial reward will be offered for credible and actionable information leading to the arrest of Abu Musa Al-Mangawi Baa Shuwa, assuring the public that all information received will be treated with strict confidentiality and the identities of informants fully protected.

The Headquarters of Operation Hadin Kai called on members of the public to support ongoing counter-terrorism operations by providing timely and credible intelligence through established security channels or via 07084988859.
