The federal high court in Abuja has dismissed a suit filed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) seeking to remove Anthony Attah, member representing Okpokwu constituency in the Benue house of assembly, following his defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a judgment delivered on Tuesday in suit FHC/ABJ/CS/2408/2025, Muhammed Umar, presiding judge, held that while Attah did not dispute leaving the PDP for the APC, the court lacked the constitutional authority to declare his seat vacant.
