The House of Representatives Ad Hoc Committee investigating the activities of the Presidential Foreign Investment Promotion Council (PFIPC) has directed the Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Olatunji Rilwan Disu, to produce the self-acclaimed Director-General of the organisation, Mr. Adeyemi Adeniyi, before the committee by noon on Wednesday.
The directive was issued as part of the committee’s ongoing probe into the operations and activities of the PFIPC.
Lawmakers said the appearance of Adeniyi is necessary to assist the committee in its investigation and clarify issues surrounding the organisation.
The committee expects the IGP to ensure compliance with the directive as the investigation continues.
