The PDP faction loyal to Nyesom Wike has called out Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, insisting that propaganda won’t last forever.
The group publicly disowned a political event in Ibadan, accusing Makinde of using a supposed alliance with the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) to push his 2027 ambition.
During a press briefing on Thursday, factional spokesperson Jungudo Haruna Mohammed made it clear that the PDP had nothing to do with the Ibadan gathering being presented as a PDP/APM coalition.
He said any individual or group claiming to represent the PDP at that event is doing so without the party’s knowledge or approval.
According to the faction, the gathering has now exposed Makinde’s true political agenda.
