The Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation has reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing staff welfare with the handover of three vehicles to Staff Unions under the Office.

The vehicles, comprising a Hybrid Compressed Natural Gas-CNG staff bus, an 18-seater Hiace bus, and a fully equipped state-of-the-art ambulance were officially presented to the Staff Union.
Representing the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, the Permanent Secretary, General Services Office, Dr. Ibrahim Abubakar Kana, said the initiative was aimed at easing transportation challenges, improving staff wellbeing, and enhancing productivity in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
He charged the Unions to ensure judicious use of the vehicles and urged staff to reciprocate the gesture through greater dedication to duty. “President Tinubu places the welfare of civil servants and Nigerians at the front burner. A vibrant civil service requires efficient and motivated staff. To whom much is given, much is expected,” he said.
The Chairman, Joint Council of Unions, JCUs, in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Comrade Paul Idowu, expressed appreciation to the SGF for the intervention, describing it as a significant boost to staff morale and daily work experience.
He pledged that the vehicles would be managed responsibly for the benefit of all staff.
