The Strategic Alliance for National Development (STAND) has called on the Attorney General of the Federation and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to urgently address ongoing disputes within the African Democratic Congress (ADC), warning that failure to act could lead to the disenfranchisement of millions of voters ahead of the 2027 elections.
The group alleged that prolonged legal and administrative disagreements surrounding ADC’s leadership structure are creating uncertainty that could prevent the party from fully participating in the electoral process. It urged INEC to maintain neutrality and provide clear guidance to avoid undermining democratic participation.
