The Nigerian Air Force has reaffirmed its commitment to intensifying intelligence-led air operations against terrorist and bandit elements, as the Chief of the Air Staff, Sunday Kelvin Aneke, ordered zero complacency during a strategic visit to Bauchi State.

Addressing personnel at the Headquarters Special Operations Command, the Air Chief stressed the need for precision, discipline, and effectiveness in all missions, noting that every operation must be intelligence-driven and outcome-focused to ensure national security.

He emphasized that the Command plays a critical role in safeguarding Nigeria’s sovereignty, urging troops to sustain operational pressure on criminal elements while maintaining high levels of readiness and professionalism.

During the visit, the CAS inspected operational equipment and infrastructure to assess readiness and enhance efficiency across units. He also paid a courtesy visit to Rilwanu Sulaiman Adamu, where both leaders highlighted the importance of community trust in achieving lasting security.

The Air Chief further disclosed ongoing efforts to strengthen operational capabilities through modern platforms, advanced intelligence systems, and continuous training, warning that complacency would not be tolerated.

He also assured personnel of improved welfare and infrastructure, noting that investments in training and living conditions remain key to sustaining operational effectiveness.

The Air Officer Commanding Special Operations Command, Ahmed Idris, reaffirmed the Command’s alignment with the directives, stating that troops remain committed to delivering decisive airpower in ongoing operations.
