The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested a woman in Maiduguri, the capital of Borno, for allegedly abusing the Nigerian currency.
In a statement released on Wednesday, the anti-graft agency identified the suspect as Fatima Mohammed.
The EFCC said she was taken into custody on Tuesday after a video surfaced on TikTok allegedly showing her using a N500 note to wipe mucus from her nose.
