Bukola Saraki, the former senate president, says the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will be on the ballot during the 2027 general election.
Speaking on Sunday at the PDP national convention, Saraki said the gathering and the validation of its processes have positioned the party to field candidates in the next election cycle.
He added that the convention demonstrated the party’s continued relevance and nationwide support.
“We now have a party that people can no longer blackmail and aspirants or make fun of them, that, ‘oh, you will not be on the ballot paper’. Now we know PDP will be on the ballot paper in 2027. This is a great achievement,” Saraki said.
