A mother, a friend to many peopel, and a sister to my Boss. Madam NKECHIYELU MBA
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR CORPORATE SERVICES is a model of love, compassion and generosity.
My first encounter with her was on one bright summer morning in 2020, when my boss, Hon. Muhammad Gololo called at exactly 11 a.m and ordered that I should immediately meet him at NDPHC Corporate Headquarters. Due to the heavy security that were up and doing to secure the building, I had to call my friend and brother Engr. Yusuf Kesa MNSE to help me with the protocols. He ushered me in after necessary clearance and took me directly to her office.
On that day, I met a role model, a woman of high calibre and a rare gem whose mission made a great difference in the lives of many people. Indeed, she’s unique to the best, in the sense that, whichever department or unit she heads used to become the envy of other departments. It’s just natural trait in her, she installs discipline in her staff and makes sure everyone does the right thing at the right time.
Madam NKECHIYELU MBA spends most of her time in service of others. She is always available for those who are in need—some require material assistance during difficulties, or simply wanted an ear that would listen to them without judging, condemning, or prejudging. I could always remember, that whenever I walked into her office to say “Hi,” she paid me the necessary attention. I feel at home in her company.
She is a reassuring presence for her workers, of whom she takes great care, as well as her friends, her colleagues, and her family. She’s loved in her community. Here are some of the qualities that Mrs Mba mastered: Authenticity, Humility, Generosity, Self-respect and respect for others, her Integrity is attested by all. She epitomises a life built on a structure of excellence, humility and integrity. The real difference between people is the attainment of success, recognition and empowerment of humanity. Mommy is an incredible woman of high spirits; her generosity knows no bounds.
I know how important 17 August was to you Mah, and I commit myself to praying for you to succeed in all your endeavour. May God’s guidance always be with you.
