We the Concerned Citizens of Adamawa state in coalition with all the PDP Pressure Groups in Adamawa Central Zone and the Social Media Youth Groups in Yola North are very disturbed by the activities, actions, and conduct of the Secretary to the Adamawa state government- Bashir Ahmed.
Our worries are borne out of one thing- Bashir is not a real politician, and he was nowhere when some people sweat with their resources and political acumens to bring to power, the Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri government. We are worried that Bashir is out to destroy the government that he is serving.
Recall, in one article; attacking five prominent Adamawa citizens from Jimeta, the Adamawa SSG, Bashir Ahmed, and his boys promised to bring to the public, more ‘revelations’ on the five people- Alh Musa Garba, Abba Mallam Babba, Alhaji Yayaji Audu Gombi (Adamawa PDP Central Zone Chairman), Alhaji Umaru Liman and Alh Sabo Bamanga. Weeks after making the threat, the Adamawa people, Jimeta citizens in particular are still awaiting Bashir Ahmed and his boys. Empty threats, so it seems, they’ve nothing to say. Rattle sabers
We are not holding a brief for any person among the five people, but we are concerned about the progress of our state and the government of the day.
Since Bashir and his boys have failed to ‘unveil’ anything on the five people- we will start a series of ‘unveilings’ of his other sides.
This is not an attack or casting an aspersion on any person, but to set a record clearly, and, for prosperity.
Firstly, we challenged Bashir to prove to the Adamawa people that he is not from Niger state ( Nupe by tribe). His claim of his maternal uncle’s house at Benue Street in Jimeta as his father’s; is not only dishonorable but deceptive. Nigeria is not like other countries where motherlands are claimed, our father’s land is where we can claim.
Alhaji Musa Garba, Yayaji Audu Gombi, Umaru Liman, Abba Mallam Babba, Sabo Bamanga, etc. are respected individuals in the entire Adamawa state, everyone knows their fathers’ and grandparents’ houses in Jimeta. Bashir should show us his father’s house in Jimeta. Many Adamawa people are eagerly waiting!
Secondly, most people in Adamawa state are aware of the rumors going around that there is massive corruption and mismanagement of resources going on in the Fintiri government, and, there are pointing fingers at Bashir.
The Adamawa people are grumbling in pain; Bashir Ahmed, not from Adamawa, may not care to protect Adamawa’s resources and people. Only the true indigenes of a state will be patriotic enough to protect the state and its people
