Former Vice-President and African Democratic Congress (ADC) presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, has launched a 75-day nationwide townhall meeting series to engage Nigerians on economic hardship, the rising cost of living, national unity and education reform ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The initiative, tagged Atiku Abubakar National Townhall Meetings, will cover the six geopolitical zones, with the South-South scheduled to host the inaugural edition in the first week of November 2026.
Under the theme, “Tested Leadership: Making Nigeria Affordable Again,” the meetings are designed to provide a platform for direct engagement between Atiku and citizens on solutions to the country’s economic and social challenges.
