President Bola Tinubu, on Sunday, told the Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, that he was no longer angry with him.
According to ThisDay, this occurred during Tinubu’s meeting with members of the Governor’s Advisory Council, GAC.
The GAC members had visited the president to plead on Sanwo-Olu’s behalf.
They also appealed for forgiveness for other individuals who may have offended Tinubu.
GAC chairman Alhaji Tajudeen Olusi stated that he was aware Tinubu had been displeased with certain individuals in the state, particularly the governor.
Olusi then personally appealed to the president for mercy.
“It’s all over now. All is forgiven,” Tinubu responded.
Tinubu further assured that he was no longer displeased with anyone in the room, including Sanwo-Olu.
Sanwo-Olu and other GAC members subsequently prostrated before the president in a gesture of remorse and appeasement.
