The fear of Abubakar Sadiq should be the beginning of wisdom.

Tajuddeen Ahmad Tijjani

Like in the scriptures, wisdom is discernment, power, sound judgment, prudence, and discretion. As a public office holder, if you are afraid of a particular competitor for the seat occupy, that fear, should be a stimulus for you to start doing the right thing for those who trust you with their mandate, not the other way round. Wisdom doesn’t entail prejudice or a campaign of calumny.

My precursor is provoked by an unfortunate failed attempt to reduce the support of an APC gubernatorial aspirant by the PDP and its operatives in Bauchi State. Hopefully, this would not discourage the noble people of Bauchi state from ousting the inept PDP leadership from power.

It is obvious and widely known to anyone how Abubakar Sadiq, the former Chief of Air Staff, transformed the Nigerian Air Force, making it the envy of other African countries and combating terrorism in the area of Lake Chad.

Under his leadership, he improved the welfare and training of air personnel in such a way that their morale was boosted in order to maintain our nation’s territorial integrity.

Efforts by small-minded people to smear a famous hero who gave his all in the service of our beloved country will be futile.

Indeed, Abubakar Sadiq had paid his dues as a national hero, transforming the air force at a time when 14 of our local governments were under the control of Boko Haram. Indeed, when the Bauchi State-born patriots came on board, Boko Haram was completely subdued, everyone was now free to move around the northeast, and commercial activities were once again in full swing.

When some people are frightened of losing an election because they failed to keep promises they made to voters, they will go to any length in a calumny campaign against a popular candidate whose supporters see in his track record an abilities to rescue the people from decades of bad administration.

I believe that the media-sponsored campaign to undermine the popularity of a complete gentleman should change tactics because our people and all lovers of Bauchi state are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to vote for a true son of the soil, a patriotic fellow, who has everything it takes to save his people and move the state forward.

Although some patriots pay a high price in the service of their country, an inquiry is ongoing to determine the true course of the unfortunate events. of course,

we feel the pain and send our heartfelt condolences to the families and the nation as a whole. Anyone who uses the lives of innocent citizens to play politics with human life will never succeed. Playing politics with the lives of our fallen soldiers is a very despicable thing to do.

Let’s put politics aside and free the country from the shackles of insecurity.
