#FreeNnamdiKanuNow protesters in Abuja have been forcefully dispersed by a joint detachment of defence and security operatives.

According to reports on Monday, the protesters, including Sowore Barr. Aloy Ejimakor and others converged around the Nigeria Communications Commission NCC headquarters in Maitama.

They reportedly chanted “Free Nnamdi Kanu Now” while warning the police against using teargas on them.
Sounds of gunshots were heard, leaving the protesters scampering for safety afterwards.
