Governor Bala Mohammed visits journalists injured in NEDC convoy accident at ATBUTH

The accident involved 13 journalists who were travelling in the convoy of the North East Development Commission (NEDC) while covering the commissioning of projects across Bauchi State.

Governor Mohammed went round the hospital wards to personally see the injured journalists, who are currently receiving emergency medical care from a medical team led by his personal physician.

He expressed deep sympathy to the victims and their families, describing the incident as a critical moment in their lives.

The governor assured the journalists of the state government’s full support and commitment to ensuring they receive the best possible medical attention for a speedy recovery, while expressing sadness over the unfortunate incident.

Earlier, the Secretary to the State.
Government (SSG), Aminu Hammayo, had led a delegation of commissioners and other top government officials on a sympathy visit to the injured journalists.
