The Executive Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) United Kingdom Chapter has paid a condolence visit to the national leadership of the party at its headquarters in Abuja, following the tragic death of the APC National Director of Administration, Dr. Abdulrauf Adeniji, who was abducted and subsequently killed by kidnappers.
The UK Chapter delegation was led by its Secretary, Chief Momoh Obaro, and was received by the APC National Secretary, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, PhD. The visit was aimed at expressing solidarity with the party’s leadership and offering heartfelt condolences on behalf of APC members in the diaspora.
During the visit, Chief Obaro conveyed the deep sorrow felt by members of the UK Chapter over the loss of Dr. Adeniji, describing him as a dedicated and exemplary public servant whose contributions to the party’s administrative structure will be sorely missed.
The delegation offered prayers for the peaceful repose of the late Dr. Adeniji’s soul, asking the Almighty to grant him eternal rest in paradise. They also prayed for strength and comfort for his immediate family and the larger APC family during this period of mourning.
The UK Chapter reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the national leadership and standing united in the face of challenges confronting the party and the nation.
