APC National Vice Chairman Condoles Lamido of Adamawa

The National Vice Chairman (Northeast) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Comrade Mustapha Salihu, has led a delegation on a condolence visit to the Lamido of Adamawa, His Royal Highness Dr. Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha, PhD, CFR, following the demise of his brother, the late Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Mustapha, OFR, Sardaunan Adamawa.

The late Alhaji Ahmad Aliyu Mustapha, a distinguished son of the Fombina Kingdom, was a former Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service and a statesman widely respected for his service to the nation and his contributions to the development of Adamawa State.

Speaking during the visit, Comrade Mustapha Salihu, who also holds the traditional title of Sa’i Adamawa, expressed deep sorrow over the loss. He prayed to Almighty Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, while also asking Allah to give the Lamido and the entire royal family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

The visit was attended by APC stalwarts, community leaders, and other prominent personalities from Adamawa, who joined in paying their respects to the royal family.
