The Special Adviser to the President on Political and Other Matters, Alhaji Ibrahim Kabir Masari, has declared that the combined votes of all opposition political parties in the 2027 presidential election will not amount to half of what the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council will deliver for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Masari, who gave the assurance on Wednesday at the inauguration of the APC Presidential Campaign Council at the State House Banquet Hall, Abuja, said the ruling party was assembling a formidable grassroots political machinery capable of securing the President’s re-election.
He, however, warned council members against making unrealistic promises of millions of votes without corresponding electoral performance, announcing that campaign officials would henceforth be assessed and rewarded strictly based on actual results delivered in their states, local governments, wards, and polling units.
