Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) has expressed concern over the spate of killings and abductions in some parts of the country.

A statement by its National Chairman, Dr. Hakeem Baba-Ahmed says, the development raises questions about security and welfare of citizens, urging the government at all levels to intensify efforts.

The party listed states affected states to include Kwara, Niger, Benue, Kebbi, Zamfara, Sokoto, Kaduna, Borno, Plateau and Yobe, among others.

It noted that while security agencies continue to make sacrifices, alots needs to be done to curb criminal activities that affect livelihoods and the economy.

The PRP called on Nigerians to speak out against criminality and urged the Federal Government to live up to its constitutional responsibility of protecting lives and property.
