The Nigerian Union of Allied Health Professionals (NUAHP) of the University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, says its members will commence an indefinite strike on Wednesday, September 16, over the failure of the institution to reinstate Adeyinka Ishola, its director of pharmaceutical services.
The union demanded the implementation of a recommendation of the federal ministry of health and social welfare, which found Ishola innocent of any fraudulent act in connection with the sale of a tricycle donated to the hospital’s pharmacy department.
