NDC presidential candidate Peter Obi and his running mate, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, on Friday paid a condolence visit to former Rivers State Governor Rotimi Amaechi in Port Harcourt.
The visit followed the death of Amaechi’s mother, Mary Amaechi, who died on July 16, 2026, at the age of 89.
Obi and Kwankwaso expressed their sympathies to Amaechi and his family ahead of the burial ceremony scheduled for the weekend.
