The former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has met with the Ambassador of the Islamic State of Iran to Nigeria, Gholamreza Mahdavi Raja In Abuja on Thursday.
Femi Fani-Kayode stated on his verified Facebook page on Friday; “Honored to have been received so warmly in the beautiful home of my friend, brother and neighbour, His Excellency Gholamreza Mahdavi Raja, the Ambassador of the Islamic State of Iran to Nigeria, in Abuja.”
He stated further; “We had a wonderful lunch which consisted of the most delicious and exotic Iranian dishes and a fruitful and productive meeting in which we discussed bilateral relations, regional issues and world affairs.”
He noted; “I was humbled and delighted at the brilliance, insight and warmth of His Excellency and I look forward to greater interaction with him, his counterpart in South Africa and other Iranian friends and diplomats in the future.”
