The Ebonyi State Local Government Election has commenced on a peaceful note as eligible voters across the state turn out to elect their representatives at the grassroots level.
Ijeoma Peter Nwante reports that Governor of Ebonyi State Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru after casting his vote encouraged voters to remain peaceful and conduct themselves in accordance with electoral guidelines throughout the exercise.
Meanwhile Security personnel have also been deployed to maintain law and order at polling locations.
