The All Progressives Congress (APC) leader, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda, has visited the national headquarters of the City Boy Movement, where he interacted with members and exchanged views on issues concerning the growth and development of Nigeria.

Nentawe disclosed this in a recent post on his official Instagram account on Saturday, 22nd August, 2026, stating that the visit provided an opportunity to engage with young Nigerians and discuss issues affecting the country.

During the visit, the APC leader also inspected the facilities at the City Boy Movement’s national headquarters and expressed satisfaction with what he saw. He said he was particularly encouraged by the growing interest of young Nigerians in politics and their willingness to ask questions and engage more deeply with national issues.

Nentawe noted that young Nigerians are increasingly moving away from making political decisions based solely on emotions. According to him, they are becoming more interested in understanding political issues, examining available alternatives, and making informed choices.

He also highlighted the participation of young people in the current administration, stating that the APC-led government has appointed more young Nigerians to positions of responsibility than any previous administration.

The APC leader urged young Nigerians to support and work with the Renewed Hope agenda, insisting that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has the vision and solutions required to address the challenges confronting the country.

Speaking ahead of the 2027 general election, Nentawe expressed confidence in President Tinubu’s bid for a fresh presidential mandate, declaring that he does not believe there is a vacancy in Nigeria’s presidency.

Nentawe compared the 2027 presidential contest to the FIFA World Cup, noting that while several teams may participate, not all of them have an equal chance of winning the tournament.

The visit to the City Boy Movement’s national headquarters underscores the growing engagement between political leaders and young Nigerians as the country approaches the 2027 general election. The engagement also provided an opportunity to encourage young people to take an active role in politics and contribute meaningfully to Nigeria’s development.
