FOFA Congratulates Alia, Ode on INEC Validation of APC Nomination

The National Chairman of Friends of Father Alia (FOFA), Alhaji Abubakar Adamu Abubakar, has congratulated the Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia, and his deputy, Dr. Sam Ode, following the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) validation of their party nomination.

In a statement issued on Sunday, Abubakar described the validation as a significant milestone that has laid to rest the uncertainty, speculation and rumours surrounding the party’s nomination process in Benue State.

He said INEC’s decision represents a victory for constitutional democracy and the rule of law, while reaffirming the mandate entrusted to the leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State and across the country.

The FOFA chairman called on members of the APC to put aside past disagreements and unite behind the party’s leadership in the interest of the state.

According to him, building a stronger, safer and more prosperous Benue requires the collective commitment of all stakeholders, irrespective of previous political differences.

Abubakar also appealed to the people of Benue State to continue supporting the administration of Governor Alia, expressing confidence that sustained peace, unity and cooperation would enable the government to consolidate on its achievements and deliver greater dividends of democracy.

He reaffirmed FOFA’s commitment to promoting peace, inclusiveness and responsible leadership, urging residents of the state to remain law-abiding, hopeful and united in advancing Benue’s continued development under the leadership of Governor Alia.
