The Senate has expanded the mandate of its Ad hoc Committee investigating the implementation of the Safe Schools Initiative (SSI) and granted the panel an additional three weeks to complete its assignment.
The extension is expected to allow the committee to widen the scope of its investigation and carry out a more comprehensive review of the implementation of the Safe Schools Initiative across the country before submitting its final report.
