Tokunbo Wahab, commissioner for environment and water resources in Lagos, says 396 beggars have been arrested in an ongoing enforcement drive to improve environmental sanitation and curb illegal activities across the state.
In a post shared on X on Tuesday, Wahab said operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps (LAGESC), also known as KAI, carried out the arrests.
