In a major move to restore public trust, the Nigeria Police Force has announced the dismissal, arrest, and planned prosecution of officers involved in criminal activities in Rivers State. These individuals are linked to serious offenses, including kidnapping, armed robbery, and abuse of office.

The Syndicate Exposed:
A deep-dive investigation uncovered a criminal ring involving officers attached to the Zone 16 Headquarters in Yenagoa. These officers allegedly conducted illegal stop-and-search operations in Port Harcourt, where they abducted citizens and forced them to transfer millions of naira through banking and cryptocurrency applications.

The Leadership Stand:
The Force Headquarters emphasized that these officers betrayed the very ethics they were sworn to uphold. Under the leadership of the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, the NPF is sending a clear message: there is zero tolerance for criminal elements within the force.

We stand for a police force that protects, not plunders.
