Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar says President Bola Tinubu’s administration is weaponising hunger and poverty through the distribution of food items and palliatives for political manipulation in northern Nigeria.
On Thursday, Oluremi Tinubu, Nigeria’s first lady, flagged off the distribution of 100 trucks of rice and N1.2 billion as palliative support for vulnerable households across the 19 northern states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) ahead of Eid-el-Kabir celebrations.
